Readers 2nd ESO - 2nd Term


This second term we (2nd ESO 'Programa') are going to read a version of The Prince and the Pauper, by Mark Twain. The publisher is Oxford (Oxford Bookworms). 
Image result for the prince and the PAUPER OXFORD BOOKWORMSAt the end of January we are going to see the play in English all together. Therefore, we recommend you to read the book, at least most of it, during the Christmas holidays.

We think it would be a great idea if you could ask Santa Claus to bring you the book so that you can start reading it during your Christmas holidays.

Thanksgiving

Big turkey animated emoticonThis coming Thursday is Thanksgiving. We are celebrating it at school on Wednesday. Students are preparing quite a lot of activities: presentations in order to learn a bit more about the origins of Thanksgiving and how it is celebrated nowadays; some delicious recipes and a performance. All our classrooms will be decorated with colourful Thanksgiving symbols created by our students.
