Days, months and seasons

I think this is a very easy topic. However, if you still have some difficulties in spelling these words, you can

     a) Click here in order to practise the days of the week.

This one is a bit more challenging, but not so much.

     b) Click here to practise the months of the year.

     c) Click here to practise the seasons.

The Weather

The weather is always a "trending topic";-)

Here you have a very good page about the weather forecast. I have chosen Madrid (Spain) but you can search any other place. You can also see a video with the weather forecast for today on that page in the area you want to: Europe, the USA...

On the other hand, you also have the weather forecast by AEMET on the blog, on the right.

Numbers

Here you can have a look at numbers (both cardinal and ordinal) if you find some of them difficult to write. Would you like to practise how to write and say numbers? I recommend you these exercises:

Crossword numbers 10-90.
Numbers 100-1000 match.
Listen and write the numbers.

Matching exercise: ordinal numbers.
Crossword: ordinal numbers 1st-20th.
Ordinal numbers with sentences,
Ordinal numbers 13th-31st.

Wake Me Up When September Ends (By Green Day)

Here you have the video of the song "Wake Me Up When September Ends", by Green Day.

If you want to keep on practising listening skills with this song you can try lyricstraining. Remember you can choose the level of difficulty.

I hope you learn and have fun!

Family vocabulary

How many siblings (brothers and sisters) have you got? How old are they? What are their names? How about your grandparents, your uncles, aunts and cousins?
Do you see them often?

If you wish, you can write a bit about your family below, in `comments' (do not write too personal information, you can change names and all the details you want to).

Have a look at this page to review family members.

If you want to practise this vocabulary, here you have a quiz.

On this page you can also create a family tree (remember: do not give personal information). Enjoy it!
